Disha Pennington, DDS

Dr. Disha H. Pennington graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a master’s degree in biology and physiology. She worked in medical research in the Department of Neurosurgery at University Hospitals in Cleveland for six years. Dr. Pennington earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry in 1999. She then completed a one-year general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland. During her training there, she had extensive training on all aspects of dentistry with a focus on comprehensive care, treating patients who were medically compromised. Dr. Pennington is a general dentist who is committed to providing the highest standard of care. Her memberships include the American Dental Association® (ADA), the Ohio Dental Association (ODA), the Akron Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). She is truly passionate about continuing her education on the latest technology through advanced lectures and workshops including those at and associated with the Kois Center, Spear Education, CEREC Doctors, Invisalign®, AAFE, as well as others offered through the ADA and AGD.

Dr. Pennington has been practicing for over 20 years and enjoys the relationships with generations of families. She loves to treat patients of all ages. When Dr. Pennington is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her two children Jarad and Alia, as well as her fur baby Gulliver. Her hobbies include playing tennis, watching tennis, anything tennis, running, spinning, hiking and just being outdoors.
